The Australian Urban Observatory https://auo.org.au/ takes complex urban data and turns it into social, economic and environmental indicators that measure the liveability of Australian cities at the local neighbourhood level. The indicators available in the online portal have been designed for evidence-informed public policy and planning, broader community discussion about important issues across the country and future sustainable development in Australia. The online portal has been developed at RMIT University and is designed for audiences in policy, planning, education, research and advocacy.
